Anemone Marianne White

$15.00
sold out

Anemone ‘Marianne White’
A quietly elegant anemone with pure white, bowl-shaped flowers and a soft golden center. Flowering early in the year, it lifts borders and containers with effortless charm. Strong stems make it ideal for cutting, though it’s just as lovely left to dance in the spring breeze. Easy to grow, undemanding, and reliably beautiful — a true garden classic.

Pack size : 10 corms

Fall Shipping (late September - late October)

How to Plant & Grow

  • Type: Spring-flowering anemone (Anemone coronaria group)

  • Planting Time: Autumn/late winter with winter protection or early spring (for spring blooms)

  • Site: Full sun to light shade

  • Soil: Free-draining, fertile soil — sandy or loamy is ideal

  • Depth: Soak corms 4- 6 hours, then plant 2–3 inches deep, pointed end down

  • Spacing: Allow 4–6 inches between each corm

  • Watering: Water in after planting; keep soil lightly moist during active growth

  • Care: Mulch in winter if needed; in colder regions, lift and store corms after flowering

Though delicate in appearance, these anemones are tough little plants—coming back year after year with minimal fuss, and offering a soft, painterly palette that lifts the spirit at the very start of the gardening season.
